Joanna Ng holds a Master degree in Orchestral Conducting (Northern Illinois University) and Bachelor degree in Piano Performance (Queen's University). She has extensive experience in solo performance and accompanying instrumental groups and choirs in Toronto, Vancouver, Kingston, DeKalb, IL, and Hong Kong. She is a registered RCM teacher, Suzuki Licensed Instructor, and a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association (ORMTA). With her own music studio, she teaches piano/flute/theory for all ages from beginner to ARCT. Mrs. D'Agnone received full scholarship for her graduate studies under the mentorship with Dr. Lucia Matos. In addition, she had the opportunity to study with the former Dean of University of Manitoba Music Faculty, Dr. Dale Lonis, and the music director of the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, Robert Hanson from 2010-2013. Conducted the Northern Illinois University Philharmonic Orchestra, Kishwahkee Symphony Orchestra, Northwestern Wind Band, Winnipeg Wind Ensemble, and York University Wind Ensemble, Joanna was appointed as the music director for University of Toronto Allegro Choir in 2013. In 2017, she was appointed as the music director for the Ontario Cross-Cultural Music Society Choir. Currently she is guest conducting with the Canadian Chinese Orchestra (紅楓華樂團) for 2021-2022 season.
