Carina Chan is the Music Director and Conductor of OCMS Adult and Children’s Choir, and the Principal Clarinetist with the OCMS Symphony Orchestra. As a versatile musician and educator with over 10 years of experience, she holds a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Toronto, specializing in instrumental (clarinet) and choral music. Carina teaches piano, clarinet, voice, and music theory under the RCM and ABRSM curriculum, guiding students of all ages toward musical excellence.

As a clarinetist, she performs with Markham Winds (Bass Clarinetist), the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra (TYWO), and the Governor General’s Horse Guards Band (GGHG). As a conductor, she leads the OCMS Choir and Children’s Choir in seasonal performances that highlight her students’ talent and dedication. Carina’s teaching emphasizes both technical mastery and a lifelong love of music.
