Instead of boring memorization, children learn Curwen Kodály hand signs! Moving fingers like a secret musical code helps singers pitch high and low notes instinctively with giant smiles.

Carina Chan
Children’s Choir DirectorCarina Chan is the Music Director and Conductor of the OCMS Adult and Children’s Choirs and Principal Clarinetist of the OCMS Symphony Orchestra. A music educator with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Toronto, she guides students of all ages with technical mastery and a lifelong love of music.
Rehearsal Schedule & Studio Environment
Our rehearsals take place every Saturday morning at the Symphonic Music Institute in Markham, a warm, welcoming space for young singers to learn, play and grow together.
